Hello again. This is my first post of 2020. I haven’t posted on my site in about a month, to be honest, I did not have much motivation, and I want to touch on that in another post. Today I am back with a full review of the Artistry Studio Collection.
This is my first time trying any products from Artistry Studio. My first impression of the products is that the packaging is sleek and durable. I really like that this collection is focused on popular destinations like New York, Paris, and Bangkok.
Multi-Purpose Dry Oil Spray
First up form the Artistry Studio Collection is the Multi-Purpose Dry Oil Spray (Parisian Style Edition). I use this spray on the skin to help lock in moisture and condition my skin. It is also best to use it on your hair to give it some added shine. This is one of my favorite products from this collection, it absorbs quickly and the scent is light which I love. A lot of people can be sensitive to some scents, so it’s great that the scent of this product is subtle. I also loved the natural glow this gave to my skin, it is not too shiny or oily.
Face and Body Shimmer Gel
I was never a fan of body glitter or shimmering gels because glitter tends to stick around forever. That is until I tried the Fenty Beauty Body Lava, so I was excited to try this Shimmering Body Gel. This product is described as a lightweight tinted gel that illuminates the face and body. The Body Gel is also Non-comedogenic which means it is specifically formulated to not clog pores. We stan for unclogged pores!
Although I do like the consistency and that it does not have a sticky consistency on the skin, I found that there is a little too much glitter for my taste. A small amount goes a long way with this product, it does provide a nice rose gold sheen to the skin and gives it a healthy glow.
Artistry Studio Cheek & Lip Duo
Every beauty brand should have a good 2 in 1 product. The cheek and lip duo is great because it can definitely be double as an eyeshadow as well as blush and lipstick. The color pay off is great and this product blends out beautifully. The image above is in the shade Rouge which is perfect for deeper skin tones.
Liquid Lip Color
Next up is the Liquid Lip color in the shade Bastille Berries which is a deep purple, which is one of my go-to shades for Fall and Winter. Liquid lipsticks are a staple in any makeup bag, so I was excited to try this one. Unfortunately, it added a shine instead of being a true matte liquid lipstick. The shade is beautiful and is perfect over an actual matte lipstick. The applicator is connected to the tube and I prefer a more precise application. I find that smaller doe-foot applicators apply the lipstick more evenly.
Artistry Studio Tinted Lip Balm
These are my favorite products from this collection simply because you can never go wrong with a tinted lip balm. These are perfect for a natural look or with no makeup at all. I have the shades Berry which is a purple shade and City Coral which is a red-orange shade. The lip balm also comes in the shade 212 Pink.
A good lip balm is so hard to come by. They are normally short-lived on the lips and have to be reapplied multiple times throughout the day. These have a center core infused with shea butter, aloe extract, avocado, grape seed, and coconut oil. Talk about hydrating! After wearing this for a few hours, my lips were still hydrated.
I hope you enjoyed this review, I love trying new products and discovering new brands. Have you ever tried any products from the Artistry Studio Collection? If so I would love to hear your thoughts!
