Milk Makeup Blur Stick
A good pore filling primer is always in my makeup bag, but this month I’ve been swapping between two. In the past when I’ve used pore filling primer they tend to roll up on my face. Do you know what I mean? It’s like they peel off. Not sure what that’s all about, but the Milk Makeup Blur Stick doesn’t do that at all. It actually g
I actually love using two primers at once and the E.L.F. Cosmetics Poreless Putty Primer performs well alone, but I am absolutely obsessed with how long my makeup lasts when I use it with the Blur Stick. The Primer goes on super smooth and I only use it in my most oily areas.
Milk Makeup Flex Highlighter
Another Milk Makeup product I’ve been loving is their Flex Highlighter in the shade Bronze. This highlight has Hyaluronic Acid in it, which I love because it hydrates the skin. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen a highlight with Hyaluronic Acid. It also contains Marshmallow Root Extract which allows the product to move with your face.
Fit Me Matte and Poreless
Now on to some complexion products. My favorite drugstore foundation is Fit Me Matte and Poreless by Maybelline in 375. Let’s talk about the shade range. This foundation has obviously been in stores for quite some time, but the shade range is so wide with 40 shades! I also love that the deeper shades are available in the store. More often than not, brands or retailers only offer certain shades in store forcing you to purchase it online.
The formula is so lightweight and medium to full coverage. My favorite way to apply this is with a foundation brush. To highlight my face, I’ve been reaching for the Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer in the shade Toffee. The shade is perfect for my skin tone and it blends out so seamlessly. Can I just thank Jackie Aina really quick for being a part of the brand’s foundation expansion? Thank you for including us all lol.
Jackie Aina x ABH Eyeshadow Palette
Speaking of Jackie Aina, I’ve been loving her palette with ABH. I am sure you’ve all gotten your hands on it, but if you haven’t please go get it. The palette is so versatile, and you can create any look you want. Normally I stick to neutral eyeshadow looks because bright colors are out of my comfort zone. I had to support my girl Jackie, and I do plan on experimenting with the more vibrant shades very soon.
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer has been my go-to for a light makeup day. I love using this to give my skin a fresh, natural look. I also top it off with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Dark Coffee to conceal my blemishes.
Powder is the one thing that’s always in my makeup bag. The Morphe Filter Perfecting Finishing Powder is great for touch-ups and setting cream products. I’ve also been using the Fenty Instant Warmth Bronzer all Summer long. I wrote about how much I love these products in my August makeup bag.
Dose of Colors Lip Gloss Hot Cocoa
Lip gloss is definitely my weakness. It doesn’t matter how many brown lip glosses I have, I will not stop until I collect them all. This shade is absolutely gorgeous on deeper complexions and it smells exactly like hot chocolate.
