I’ve been testing out five Versed products and thought I would share a Versed skincare review. This brand is non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free and they focus on sustainability and providing high performing products. This is an affordable brand that has a wide range of products from retinol to facial peels.
We all want beautiful skin which takes time and often a lot of money. Who has time to drop $80 on ONE product? Not only does this company work to cater to all skin types, but the price point is also amazing. You can get clear skin for just $22. Let’s get into this review, shall we?
I have to take a moment to mention some of my favorite things about this brand because they are quite unique. The packaging is recyclable which is great. There are directions on how to recycle each product when it is empty. Secondly, I appreciate is that you can find how to use the product, when to use the product, and where to use the product all on the packaging. Lastly, each product’s packaging explains what concerns it targets.
Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm $17.99
First up is the versed day dissolve cleansing balm. I am a long time fan of the Clinique Take The Day Off cleansing balm because it removes makeup like no other. After using this cleansing balm I would say that this is definitely a dupe because it not only removes makeup, it effectively cleanses the skin. It also does not leave behind an oily residue. The texture feels like coconut oil and melts into the skin, and once you add water it lathers into a milky consistency. Start with dry skin and begin massaging a dime-size amount on your face. Then you can add water and rinse.
Wash It Out Gel Cleanser $12.99
This is one of my favorite cleansers from the versed skincare. It’s a gentle gel cleanser that washes away dirt and impurities. It is formulated with rosewater, mint, apple amino acid, and seaweed extract. I love the minty scent and how clean my skin feels after using this product. It is so refreshing and doesn’t leave my skin dry or tight. It also leaves my oily skin soft and uncongested. Lastly, the cleanser comes in a 6.4 fl oz bottle which will last you a long time.
Daily Brightening Solution $17.99
One of my major skin concerns is dullness and anything that promises to brighten my skin is intriguing. Right now, I am focusing on products that truly work for my skin. This is a brightening toner for uneven skin tones and acne scarring. The toner works to exfoliate the skin with a four-acid complex like kojic and azelaic acid, AHAs, and bearberry extract.
After a few uses, I noticed that my complexion is brighter and my hormonal acne scars are starting to be a thing of the past (thank you, Jesus). The pores around my nose have also gotten smaller and that is because of the witch hazel. I have heard so many mixed opinions on witch hazel, and I would love to know what you think.
On The Rise Firming Serum $19.99
This is a firming serum made for aging skin. The directions suggest pressing 2-3 drops onto your face and neck. Then let the product sink in for 2 minutes for the best results. This can be used in both your morning and nighttime routine. I am 25 and I don’t think this product was necessary for my routine just yet. However, it is always great to start the anti-aging process early. I do like the texture and that it’s fragrance-free, but there are no changes in my skin. With that being said, I should have purchased the brightening serum.
Silk Slip Condition Lip Oil $9.99
I’ve struggled with chapped lips for a while and it is so difficult to find a product that will provide hydration. This thick lip oil provides intense hydration and isn’t sticky. This product is made with jojoba oil and vitamin E that conditions and smooths chapped lips.
Skin Decoder
The skin decoder is a quiz that helps you find the best products for your skin. This is based on your age, skin type, environmental conditions, lifestyle, and skincare goals. After the quiz is finished you can choose from a single product or a full skincare routine. I recommend taking this quiz before purchasing products.
Weekend Glow Daily Brightening Solution, Stroke of Brilliance Brightening Serum, The Shortcut Overnight Facial Peel.
These are the perfect products to create a skincare routine. I hope you enjoyed this Versed skincare review. Have you tried any products from Versed? If so, what were your thoughts? Are there any products that I didn’t mention that you think I should try next? Let me know in the comments.
xx,
Brianna
